When does a phone contract actually start?
I ordered my new contract with Orange today for £30 month, but I only have £5 currently in my bank. When will my contract start? Will it start when I insert the sim and start using minutes or start when I receive the phone? If so, will I be charged from my bank account on the same day?
I received an email stating my order confirmation.
It depends on the provider. Usually you sign, and at the end of the month you get a bill and pay that. I would say you are safe for now.
You could always call them and ask. Usually your bill is for past use only, as in, you arent paying in advance.
