Motorola Walkie Talkie - Always Stay Connected
The walkie talkie is popularly known as 2 way radio. They have a push to talk or a (Press to Transmit) button that helps to activate the transmitter. The radios are classified into two categories: the first type is capable of operating on Family Radio Service (FRS) and the second is capable of operating on General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS).
These radio-based phones are similar to the mobile phones. They are creating a rage in the world of connectivity. These radio-based phones have the ability to send and receive voice signals. People, who cannot afford to buy mobile phones for their children, can give them this radio to stay connected anytime and anywhere.
Initially these radios were being used only by the defence forces and police, but now they are accessible to the masses as well. They are gaining momentum in the market too.
Motorola has come up with model Motorola T4512 (8 channels) that is a two-way radio twin pack and has a 5km range. The Motorola two-way radio is water and shock resistant, it has a side Push to Talk location, a volume control and a back lit LCD screen that enables the users to view in dark surroundings.
